All it is is 10 hours of fan service via the after stories, 10 hours of actually cool plot stuff with Yuuji's backstory that just totally lacks the time needed to get properly invested in the characters that are introduced, some of which you already should know the fates of.Plus, a lot of it is downright wrong feeling. Stuff like Yuuji sleeping with JB and his master is kinda disgusting since he's meant to be what, 15/16 at the time? I don't think the stuff with Kazuki is as bad since that is meant to be a ♥♥♥♥ed up family. But when it's him banging his foster parents who are meant to be the good guys then it just feels bad.Don't bash on the price for being expensive. Bash on it for being too much for too little, and what little there is isn't of high enough quality to justify the price. First game is way better. If the third game is good, then you'll have to buy and read this to know the background.. This review may contain spoiler for the first VN "The Fruit of Grisaia", it's ideally reasonable since this is the after-story-telling*Second sequence of the Grisaia series,Grisaia no Meikyuu, if you take the time to finish Grisaia no Kajitsu and appreciate its amazing story, you will naturally be reading this. Grisaia no Meikyuu contains the after story for each heroine in the first volume. Not like every one of those endings in the previous require more details (expect Makina's in my opinion), but it does take those stories to another level. It also includes the main route, which is the story regarding Yuuji's past. The plots they imply within either heroines' routes or the common route in Kajitsu are revealed as Yuuji's past presents. The overall stories is considered pleasant but disconnected in is own way since there are so many stories involve. Some ideas I have after finishing it are: Amane after's ending confirms one thing that make everything worth it. (Find out yourself) Makina's story is more completed but still not as satisfied as finishing others' endings Sachi's story just gets better even it was the best one of all in the first sequence. (Sachi is still the best girl) They must be high as kite when they write the sketches for short storiesJust be prepared for some weird story lines in Yuuji's past (readers pretty much figure out some from the hints they been dropping). The only unpleasant part of the reading is probably the ending of main route, it leaves you with question marks that you need to find to solve yourself in Rakuen (No like any one would miss that in this point). And there is not much sachi to begin with which leads to some disappointments.9/10. Grisaia no Meikyuu the spiritual successor of Grisaia no Kajitsu.There's not really much to say other than this being a worthy successor to the main game.The soundtrack is simply amazing and they managed to take over the awesomeness that GnK represents in the psychological genre.What are you waiting for ? JUST BUY IT. Labyrinth of Grisaia is the second game in the series, and completing the original is most definitely a requirement before starting this one. The setup is a little different here, with the game split into essentially three sections. First comes the epilogues of all the good endings from the first game- these are quite enjoyable and give a good deal of closure to those scenarios. Next up is the main route, Cocoon of Caprice, which tells the painful story of Yuuji's youth and past in the form of flashbacks, along with reactions from characters in the present time learning the information. Finally there is a series of amusing short stories set in all different time periods and being just for fun. There are no major changes from the original game, and it's a very smooth continuation. This is a shorter entry and there are no dialogue options this time around, you simply choose your scenario from the main menu. Be warned that this ends on a cliffhanger for the final game in the trilogy, Eden of Grisaia. It may not have all the magic of the original but if you enjoyed Fruit of Grisaia, this is basically required reading. Enjoy.. If you loved The Fruits of Grisaia then obviously you're going to read this regardless of what people say about it. I can confirm though that this game is worth playing, but the price may turn you away.. If you liked the first game then feel free to pick this one up aswell, you'll most likely enjoy this just the same.What they changed in this one compared to its predecessor, is that you no longer have choices in the story, rather you can select right off the bat which route you are interested in.The story is split up to one main route, regarding the main character's backstory, 5 after stories, which tell the events after each girl's happy ending, and a bunch of short stories, mostly for just carefree funny moments.All in all, this sequel keeps both the quality and the atmosphere of the first game, and also has some additional soundtrack, but for 30-40 hours of story I'm not sure if you should get it for the full price, maybe wait for a sale.. This series is amazing, I know I'm biased for having just started it, but this series managed to make me fall in love with girls... at least some 2d girls ( and that's not the way I swing). I have high hopes for this one too. I think anyone can play it and enjoy it and if you are straight all the better!If you haven't already already played kajitsu ( the fruit of Grisaia ), do it now, it's worth it.. so much content has been changed from the original that its upsetting. if you are looking for an all ages game then i'd recomend it however if your looking for ORIGINAL content then wait for the release of the 18+ version. I bought the game off J-List and Steam, and am patiently waiting for the english patch. Trust me. the content is DEFINATELY different. I can speak decent Japanese just cant write it lol. the all ages version gets a 5.5 out of 10 from me. if they did leave the dirty jokes then maybe I'd have given it an 8 but there you have it. all in all I do not recomend this version for true die hard 18+ fans but for all you younger fans knock yourselves out.
